Since 1971, AFP Golden Gate, a 501(c)(3) organization, has provided education programs and training tools, leadership development and mentorship opportunities, and promoted ethical practice while creating and sustaining a community of inclusion and diversity.
With over 450 members, AFP Golden Gate is among the largest chapters in the worldwide Association of Fundraising Professionals International (AFPI). We strive to meet the changing needs of the fundraising-related professional community, but we need the help of members and friends like you to make that possible. Local chapter membership dues cover just 20% of AFP Golden Gate's annual budget.
Your gift to AFP Golden Gate supports our full array of professional programs: from skill-building masterclasses to forums on issues facing every nonprofit organization today to gatherings that build the kind of community that helps retain talent in a profession known for high turnover. Most programs welcome the general public to attend alongside members. Some learning events, for example, our series of Live Webinars, are free for all. The annual National Philanthropy Day event is one of the largest gatherings of fundraising professionals, sponsors and philanthropists in the world.
