The Flex-Mentor Program is Open for Applications!
AFP Golden Gate's popular Mentor Program has provided one-to-one support for hundreds of professionals including
fundraisers, executive directors, development staff, board leaders and
consultants. In 2018, the program is presented in partnership with the Northern California Planned Giving Council. Whether you wish to learn more about a specific area of
fundraising, are new to, curious about or experienced in the profession,
or simply enjoy sharing your expertise with others, you'll find the
Mentor Program rewarding.
The Flex-Mentor Program is a discounted, shorter term program that is
open to Mentors and Fellows/Proteges who missed the winter window for
applications to the full program. Flex-Mentor runs from June through
1. Strengthening the skills of the Fellow/Protege, and supporting professional and career development, by working on specific areas of his or her practice.
2. Enhancing the professional abilities of participating Mentors.
3. Fostering excellent relationships between seasoned development professionals and newer development practitioners.
