DESCRIPTION

Significant new and increased fundraising doesn't grow in a linear pattern. Consultants at Glavin Jacobson have developed a model for planning growth that reflects the unique needs of nonprofit organizations. May is budget season for many organizations, and the summer is time to plan the fall campaign. This session will get you ready to lead your organization's fundraising growth.

PRESENTERS SUSAN JACOBSON & MELISSA PEREZ, Glavin Jacobson, Inc.

Susan Jacobson is President of Glavin Jacobson Inc. She is an expert on maximizing fundraising productivity from both annual and capital campaigns, with a special focus on major gifts. She has held senior development positions at University of California San Francisco, United Way of the Bay Area, the Buck Institute for Age Research, San Francisco General Hospital Foundation, and the San Francisco Education Fund. As an independent consultant prior to joining Glavin Jacobson Inc., Susan's clients included the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, Goodwill Industries, the Jewish Community Center, and the California College of Art. Her career bridges the nonprofit and corporate communities ranging from household names like AT&T, United Way and the San Francisco Opera, to small nonprofit start-ups like We Teach Science and SPAAT. She has served in both staff and board roles. This gives her particular insight into corporate partnerships, volunteer engagement, and board leadership. In addition to fundraising experience with annual fund, major gifts, and foundation and corporate grants, Melissa has particular expertise in complex corporate partnerships and management of the development office team.
