While nonprofits compete for major gifts to advance our organizations, today’s emerging donors want to engage with broad, collaborative movements that have the power to solve society’s most urgent problems. Can your .org make it in a # world? Donors no longer look to solve problems exclusively through nonprofits but seek to join movements that inspire. Can you and your .org deliver? This is central theme of the 3rd Hank Rosso Forum, co-presented by DER and AFP, taking place on Oct. 3rd in San Francisco.
This year’s Forum will again be moderated by Kay Sprinkel Grace, a leading author, speaker and thought leader in philanthropy. The Forum’s keynote speaker and facilitator is Hildy Gottlieb, co-founder and Chief Boundary Pusher at Creating the Future. Hildy will lead us in asking powerful change questions and will guide you towards becoming a catalyst for change in your organization and your community. A dynamic thought leader, Hildy is a TEDx speaker, contributor to The Huffington Post and author of “Building Movements, Not Organizations” in the Stanford Social Innovation Review.
The interactive portion of the Forum will be co-facilitated by Lisa Hoffman, leading nonprofit consultant, coach, and Zen priest. The Forum will also feature a panel of leaders, including Sam Cobbs, President of Tipping Point Community and Angela Jenkins, Director of Strategic Initiatives at Kaiser Permanente.
As donors and volunteers search for new ways to effect large-scale social change, how will you and your organization adapt and experiment with new approaches to solving our greatest issues and enriching our community experience? Join us on October 3, 2019 for an afternoon of inspiration, networking and soul-searching.
And those who register for the Rosso Forum before August 15th will be entered into a drawing to win Coffee with Kay! Moderator of the Hank Rosso Forum and philanthropy thought leader Kay Sprinkel Grace will be meeting with a few lucky winners of this early bird registration special for an hour of invaluable consulting on how you and your .org can thrive in today's climate.
The reception immediately following at the Omni Hotel is included with registration.
The Rosso Forum is a biennial event honoring Hank Rosso, the first disrupter of philanthropy, and founder of The Fundraising School.
