If you are in the 2019 Mentor Program, as a Fellow or as a Mentor, you are invited to join this online clinic! Using Zoom video conference, you will be able to see everyone else on the clinic. This is an excellent opportunity to get more out of your mentor program experience, and network with others.

Registration is required, but there is no charge. See gray box below for registration instructions.
All registrants will be emailed the Zoom link to access the clinic online 1-2 days before the session.

Topic: ETHICS NOW!

Adhering to the AFP code of ethics and standards distinguishes AFP members from others claiming to be professional fundraisers. Join in on an online clinic to explore ethical dilemmas and address burning questions. Dilemmas welcome! Let's work on some situations that you are encountering now, or have in the past, or those you've heard about, or could see in the not too distant future. Development and ethics leader Katherine Bella will lend her considerable expertise and be our guide in the discussion. The clinic will also cover fundraising ethics resources available to you. Come prepared to engage in dynamic conversation!

Katherine Bella serves as Chief Strategy Officer for PRC, overseeing strategic planning, governance, public and private funding, marketing and public relations for the agency.  Her professional background includes consulting with more than 100 Bay-Area nonprofit organizations, serving on numerous nonprofit boards, and working as a nonprofit Chief Executive Officer and Chief Development Officer.

Kathy completed the Executive Program for Nonprofit Leaders at Stanford University Graduate School of Business and the Executive Leadership Program at the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business.  She holds Master of Social Work (major: community organization, minor: nonprofit administration) and Bachelor of Science (major: human development) degrees from the University of Connecticut.  She is also a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).
